"Buskers” is a new Broadway bound musical conceived by two of New York City’s favorite subway buskers - angelic soprano folk-singer, Wendy Sayvetz, and soulful pop/rock singer/songwriter, Nicola. “Buskers” tells the story of why they and other street musicians from all corners of the world ply their trade in New York City’s train stations and captures the magical “theater without walls” they create with their underground audiences. The show will feature an ensemble cast of New York City’s star subway buskers with a script and score woven from their own life stories and music, anecdotes of their most devoted fans, and new original songs.
